Audition Prep Materials
(BY APPOINTMENT ONLY)


 PLEASE COME EARLY AND PREPARED WITH:
  • a 1-3 minute contemporary monologue
    • Remember, the characters in "Bandit" have to live in harsh terrain, surrounded by lawlessness.  Shows us how tough you are!
       
  • Your designated scene (you'll need Acrobat Reader to view these files), memorized for the part of:
    1. KATE,
    2. LEONARD,
    3. RICH,
    4. GEORGE, or
    5. THE OLD MAN WITH NO ARMS.

    Please note that this script demands a number of actions (dismounting horses, kissing, etc.) that obviously cannot be reproduced during auditions.  Feel free to pace your dialog to cater to the audition environment.


SCHEDULE AND DIRECTIONS
LOCATION: "The Complex" Theater building is located in Theater Row on Santa Monica Blvd. in Hollywood.  20 min. auditions will be held in a private rehearsal room complete with theater chairs and a small lighted stage.  Auditions will be taped for further review.

DATES: Saturday August 20th and Sunday August 21st

TIME: Single 20 minute auditions every half hour from 9:00 AM to 6:30PM

PARKING: Parking is available on the side streets off of Santa Monica Blvd.  The street are not metered and do not have street sweeping in the weekend.  Parking should be relatively easy to find.

DIRECTIONS: "The Complex" is located on the south side of Santa Monica Blvd. between Wilcox and Cole.  For further reference, it is about halfway between the larger cross-streets of Highland Ave. and Vine St.

The address is 6472 Santa Monica Blvd; Hollywood, CA 90038.

The entrance is a glass door to the left of the "Box Office" and to the right of the 6470 Theater.  The address, 6472, is painted above the door and printed on the door itself is the sign "The Flight."  Enter, go up the stairs and down the hallway to your right.  The rehearsal room, the "West Studio," is facing you at the end of the hallway.  Signs will be posted to help you find the studio.  There are restrooms around the corner and seats if you arrive early.  Please be quiet for our neighbors while you wait in the hallway.

FROM HWY 101 (SOUTHBOUND):
Take 101 South
Take the Cahuenga Blvd. exit
Bear Right on N Cahuenga Blvd.
Turn right on Santa Monica Blvd.

FROM HWY 101 (NORTHBOUND):
Take 101 North
Take the CA-2 exit toward Western Ave.
Turn left on Santa Monica Blvd.

FROM 10 FREEWAY (WESTSIDE):
Take 10 East
Take the La Cienega Blvd. (#7A) exit
Bear right on La Cienega Blvd. (Northbound)
Turn right on Santa Monica Blvd.

FROM 10 FREEWAY (EASTSIDE):
Take 10 West
Merge onto 101 North
Take the CA-2 exit toward Western Ave.
Turn left on Santa Monica Blvd.

FROM 405 FREEWAY:
Take 405 North/South
Take 10 East
Take the La Cienega Blvd. (#7A) exit
Bear right on La Cienega Blvd. (Northbound)
Turn right on Santa Monica Blvd.

Note: if you are coming from the San Fernando Valley you should get to the studio via 101 South and NOT via 405 South.
